Our Story
Mike and I first met at the hospital where I was doing my x-ray internship. He is a firefighter and was there on a call and a close family friend, Laurie, also worked there and basically hunted me down so she could introduce us! It was a llittle awkward, there was some small talk and we went our separate ways. I remember thinking that he was so cute, but nothing came of it. We saw each other again a few months later at our friend Michael's graduation party. We talked for awhile there too, but I left and he didnt ask for a number, I think he was a little shy! Well, our friend Michael Rhodes gave him my number anyway and he called me the next weekend and we met for dinner. I knew it was going to be different with him when we sat at the restaraunt for over 3 hours just talking. We had alot in common. We also had our first kiss that night and have pretty much been inseperable ever since.
Our Wedding
Our wedding is Saturday, November 6th, 2010 at Trilogy Golf Club at Vistancia in Peoria. Its a beautiful country club and we are so excited to be getting married there!
Travel Arrangements
Mike and I will be spending our first days as a married couple in San Francisco and Napa Valley! We are so excited to see all the sites and go wine tasting. There are alot of things we would like to do on our honeymooon! Since we already have a beautiful home with all the trimmings, we decided to create a honeymoon registry. After all, the memories from our honeymoon will last alot longer than a new set of bath towels! We are hoping our friends and family will help us celebrate our marriage with an amazing honeymoon!
